The staff consists of the volunteer Board of Directors, Advisory Council, Steering Committee and hundreds of volunteers from churches and businesses in the Merrimack Valley. It is because of their faithful support and dedication to the vision that SCNE is continually growing and succeeding to fulfill it's mission.

SCNE was founded in March 2003 by Pastor Marlene Yeo to specifically seek solutions to the challenges facing the poor, elderly and youth in the city.

From 1992- 2004 Marlene had served 10 years as aYouth Minister and 2 years as an Associate Pastor. There was a strong core of 75 youth who were trained and raised up in leadership. These youth were the missionaries to their high schools, deacons, worship leaders and the intercessors who were instrumental in reaching thousands of youth with the love and power of Christ.

In 1998, God placed a new mantel on her to take the youth and the love of Christ to the streets in the city of Haverhill, Massachusetts. She birthed an inner city ministry called "H.O.P.E." (Haverhill Outreach Practical Evangelism). Marlene began to model a life of compassion while training the youth to be city missionaries.

In July 2002, she met Dr. Doug Stringer, Founder of Somebody Cares America (www.somebodycares.org). By March of 2003, H.O.P.E. metamorphosed and Somebody Cares New England was birthed.

In April of 2004, after several clear prophetic words and counsel from her apostolic covering the Lord  lead her to Community Christian Fellowship www.ccfcca.com in Lowell, Massachusetts. She shared with the Sr. Pastor, Raffoul  Najem,  her vision for an inner city church to specifically address inner city issues. He confirmed the mantel and calling on her life and  knew God was calling him to help establish the new work. Both have received their credentials from Faith Christian Fellowship International Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma (www.fcf.org). Together they have planted Community Christian Fellowship "CCF Street Church", one church, different locations.

On November 6, 2005, Pastor Michael Servello, Sr. of Mt. Zion Ministries of Utica, New York, together with Pastor Raffoul, anointed and launched the 25 core group leaders for the new work, Community Christian Fellowship "CCF Street Church" was birthed (www.ccfhaverhill.org) and the doors opened in the donated space of Trinity Episcopal Church  on November 20, 2005.

In 2006 Marlene was appointed by Govenor Mitt Romney's office to serve a five year term from April 2006-2011on the Board of Trustees for Northern Essex Community College of Haverhill, Massachusetts.

In 2011 Marlene published her first book titled "Where is God on Tuesday".  She is available for speaking engagements regarding city-wide transformation and prayer.

In December 2012 we moved into our new building located at 358 Washington Street, Haverhill, MA!
